Barlow also had a hard time with 9/11 quit the band, went into law enforcement, quit that, and wandered around from group to group trying to regain his musical footing. I honestly expected this to be about Matt Barlow (coincidentally he's Schaffer's brother-in-law). And then when Barlow left there was no point in me giving a crap anymore I couldn't get past the ignorant patriotism. Unfortunately 9/11 spooked him so much he crawled up his own ass and got lost. An interview with him about the something wicked trilogy was my first exposure to the david icke lizard people type conspiracies, and the glorious burden was a tea party record before the tea party. I've never been a big power metal fan but those 90s iced earth albums were choice back in the day. ![]() ![]() Musicaly its fine, the subject matter just turned me off.
